When the Going Gets Tough, Ride on Girl | Montanna Beavis

Montanna Beavis is an acrylic painter whose work celebrates the heart and soul of country living, she also incorporates illustrations that allow each piece to speak to its viewer.  Montanna works from her farm studio in the Hunter Valley in NSW Australia.  

Her donated piece reflects bold brushwork and contemporary rural themes.

Montanna used acrylics on canvas to paint this piece which was inspired by the fact life can be so difficult and challenging at times, but sometimes you just have to get back up and try again! 

“When the going gets tough, ride on girl” is illustrated on the painting with a brown horse in the centre wearing cowgirl boots. She loves that this piece can offer a kind reminder in difficult times that you always have the change to get up and try again.
